Hic!

I have no car in Istanbul.  Grocery shopping is largely done by ordering on line and home delivery - bringing all that stuff up three flights of stairs, well,  sooner them than me - but delivery of alcohol is prohibited, so sometimes, an "alcohol run" is necessary.  Today was an unforeseen opportunity to replenish stocks when Alison kindly took me to a local supermarket on our way to her house for a lengthy debriefing of the Department Heads Committee meeting we had participated in after school and juicy gossip intellectual debate regarding various pedagogical issues.
