Larch flowers

Our first walking day in weeks - so we decided to take it gently. I have only just recovered from a bad cold, and Mrs P was trying out new boots. The highlight of the walk was the sight of a pair of crossbills - the first I have ever seen.

I didn't think I had the right lens with me for these larch flowers, but actually my fisheye lens worked quite well.
