I visited the wo 1 site of Nieuwpoort (Newport). This is actually the place where they stopped the invasion of the germans.In 1914 the clocks wre opened in Newport so the plains got flooded and the enemy couldn't progress forward. A big memory monument and visitors center is constructed over here. 
The picture taken is nearby . I think they were constructing a kind of monument, but i'm not exactly sure.
