The Sun

This is the first time I had tried to image the sun with a DSLR. The image is not good to say the least. I need to improve the taking and processing. The black spots are sun spot regions. Be aware that you must never look at the sun with the naked eye or through binoculars or telescopes Or point your camera at the sun. I'm told you will go blind in under a second. This image was taken using a Hydrogen Alpha telescope which is designed specially for the purpose.
