No Smoking

Today Dubai supported World No Tobacco Day by banning the sale of tobacco for 24hours.
I found this rather odd as Dubai doesn't have a complete no smoking policy as smoking in restaurants & bars is still allowed. All that said, smoking in the workplace or shopping Malls is banned.
