Emergency

More drama at work!  We had to evacuate the building for the second time in two weeks today at work.  We heard a huge crash/explosion, which we felt in our building, then I saw huge plumes of dust coming from the building opposite, which is covered in scaffolding and is in the process of being demolished.  There was a lot of shouting/confusion as workers ran down the street and part of the building they were working on collapsed.  Emergency services of all kinds turned up, including the air ambulance.  As far as I know, one man was taken to hospital with injuries, I hope he wasn't too badly injured, poor man.  It could have been far worse though, especially if it had happened on the side opposite our building, as there were quite a few men working/digging, just outside the building (plus we have huge glass windows very close to where I was working!)

I got home slightly earlier than usual, so went to see 'A Little Chaos' at the cinema.  A strange film, but quite enjoyable.
