Canned

The North Pacific Cannery, just outside Prince Rupert. We were taken around by Spider, who started in the salmon fisheries making and repairing nets (hence the name). He was informative and entertaining with a bone dry sense of humour. Two hours in his company flew by.
A large part of this cannery still stands, unlike yesterday's blip though it has a similar air of ghosts of the past about it, the difference being that many people visit and some ex cannery employees such as Spider continue to breathe life into the place.
