Pacific Golden Plover

I'm afraid I failed to catch a Pacific Golden Plover in its winter plumage, apparently it's a little nondescript, but now look at him, he's beautiful! I was so pleased to see so many birds in full breeding regalia & they all looked in magnificent condition and thriving on the island of Masirah. Unless you have serious shade and water supplies, Masirah sadly is out of bounds from the middle of April onwards as it is too hot and although very beautiful, there is absolutely no shade!
