The Presumpscot at sunset

This is the river down the street from my house. The Presumpscot. It can be beautiful or at low tide rather icky. Lots of eels in here. Eels are gross. Every once in a while someone squeaks one into a sushi. Gross.

This river was highly polluted when I was growing up. Now, it is not. Much more beautiful now than it ever was.........
The eagles are back.
