Watendlath Bridge

Glorious day today. I ventured out in shorts!

The Man and I headed to Derwent Water and up the Borrowdale valley stopping several times to take photos. On the route was Ashness Bridge (blipped by The Man), Surprise View, Watendlath, Grange in Borrowdale (but couldn't get a parking place) and the lake shore via Manesty Woods.

I was out in charge of the 1Ds Mk III today so I got lots of chances to practice with a full frame camera.

I'm going to go away somewhere with it again tomorrow!
