Wedding day

It's here, my lovely bridesmaid's wedding day.

We are on the way to the glass house for the ceremony. It's a beautiful day, the sun is shining and it is lovely and warm. What a pleasant walk for a bride to meet her groom.

The bride was beautiful, the bridesmaids too in their navy, the groom looking handsome and all the guests dressed for the occassion. The ceremony was lovely and after a short while they were man and wife and the groom allowed to kiss his bride. a little tear? Of course there was.

Afterwards in the warm sunshine canapes and pims, very pleasant and civilised. The reception was in the pavilion. lovely food, lovely wine and lovely company. The speeches - sentimental, serious and humorous as those speeches should be and a song from the brides sister her bridesmaid, which too was beautiful. All full from the reception we retired back to the cottage for a freshen up and rest if needed.

The evening do was back in the pavilion, the curtain pulled back to reveal the dance floor, First dance over and all can relax and enjoy the party, and that, we all did.

It wasn't a late night midnightish but all tired and ready for bed. A perfect day and we wish the happy couple all the best for their new life together which starts today, their wedding day.
