Perfect birthday gift

Kwchas got me the perfect birthday gift today - a photography lesson while we were in the Lakes.

I learnt a lot about composition, exposure compensation, panning (need to practise that a lot more!) and how to use the light to create more dynamic pictures.  Hope I can remember it all and apply it to future blips.
