Bowood 2015 #14 (Thursday 9th April 2015)

It was too fine an afternoon to stay at home, so I took myself off to Bowood. It was considerably quieter as the Easter holidays were over, and I began by having a cappuccino and a slice of walnut and coffee cake in the Stables Restaurant. I had brought some work with me so I sat on a bench seat overlooking the lake and was soon joined by two Canada geese, grazing a few feet away. This handsome pheasant sauntered past, preoccupied by his own vanity.
