Snips and Snaps

Flew almost too close to the sun to get a good shot!  Saturday on Cat Bells marshalling on a fell race.  Cat Bells is a delightful little  mountain 451m (1,479ft) with gorgeous views over Derwent Water in the Lake District.  A nice little rocky scramble to keep the kids interested and a perfect spot for a picnic on top.  Ian and I were at the summit for over three hours recording the runners through to ensure everyone made it back safely to the start.  Despite the clear blue skies the wind from the east was icy and we needed all the spare clothing we took up there.  The paragliders provided a good show and this is one family enjoying the day, as did we : )
