Roast Porker, Baste Occasionally

A lazy morning - spent mostly catching up on blip (again). A quick wander around the garden to inspect the latest growth - lots of things sprouting - potatoes, carrots, bean, raspberries - and plenty of seedlings that Mrs madwill is looking after. There are also lots of weeds to be dealt with so that is a job for this week (maybe).

On our walk after lunch we went up the old lay-by to the pig farm where I spotted these porkers - one laid out fully in the sun. It was really hot standing there (it is very sheltered) so this pig must have been roasting.

For tea we had roast loin of pork......and used some rhubarb from the garden in a crumble for pudding!
