Bucolic delights.

As is often said " any port in a storm " well this is Port Elphinstone near Inverurie. First, it is not a port and second it's not really a storm, just heavy rain for about an hour.
My car was in the Subaru dealership to have some work done. I had four hours to kill so I had a walk around this area, sampling the bucolic delights of Donside, including Inverurie Cairn with its connections to the 1745 battle of Inverurie. Have taken lots of lovely photo's but you only get to see one, my shelter from the rain.
