scary-looking sausages

I don't know what these are, but they sure do freak me out. I spotted them when I was in getting fish and chips.

So, the carbfest continues apace. It's the stress, you see. It does that to a girl.

Also, the weather was so miserably shite today. Came home straight from work to pack boxes, carried them to the car in the rain, went and picked Steve up, drove to his lock-up, stored said boxes...all done in the pissing rain. A fish supper was called for after all that :)

It was my boss' farewell lunch today. She's off on mat leave from tomorrow afternoon. Gillian, who used to work in our team, came along for lunch too but didn't even get to the restaurant as her wee boy wasn't well :( Really nice to see her though and we've arranged to meet up before I head off :)

Just over 4 weeks to go!!!
