Spare a thought

The Ministry of Education provided each school in New Zealand with a box of crosses and poppies for ANZAC Day (if they wanted them). On each of the crosses is the name of a serviceman who died during WW1.
Today Waiau Area School placed its crosses in the ground and had a few moments contemplation about the lives lost.

I was very moved by the whole thing too
