Despite the loveliness of this picture, today was horrible! And rounded off a rather dreadful week nicely!

Beginning with my dad announcing that he wanted nothing to do whatsoever with my home repairs, which left me frustrated and upset. It all sounds a bit silly really, as it is trivial in the grand scheme of things, but I felt like I'd helped everyone else this week (and was quite happy to), and then nobody would return the favour! In my family, minor issues like this frequently result in everyone screaming and shouting, and multiple outbursts left everybody fed up and miserable, despite the glorious sunshine.

In short, my house isn't finished, and I've had to find an odd-job man to do a few bits later in the week.

I went to meet T in the evening, but I felt anxious, and felt like I didn't deserve a nice evening. I'm not happy unless everyone else is. I unloaded to T as we walked to Clapham High Street, and he very sweetly listened to all my nonsense! He's had a stressful week at work, so we both needed a bit of fun. We went to Honest Burger, and took his roommate too. We had a nice evening, talking and laughing, and it was good to relax.

And once I got a text to say all was fine on the home front, it helped me to feel a bit less worried.
