A busy day

Another glorious day. Off to Baleshare for a stroll and a chance to admire the far off hills of South Uist under a small canopy of clouds. Then in the afternoon around to an archaeological friend with a boat to nip across to a couple of islands with some remains on them.Having got used to walking into some of the more remote locations, it was great to get on a boat and twenty minutes later be in the middle of nowhere.
Got home then expecting to have to go and pick Tricia up to find her already home having bussed and hitched back from school. Slightly bizarrely on one of her hitches, discussion got around to weaving and how she was trying to get hold of some fleeces of the local Hebridean black sheep when two were produced form the back of the van and given to her...
And then off to Langass Lodge for a retirement do for a friend from Grimsay .Excellent food and home grown music kept us there to two a.m.
