The Race

Off to Aviemore, tagging along on Mandy's weekend of canoeing lessons. She's up at Glenmore Lodge for the Friday dinner and chat (and drinking until 3am, it turns out). We're setting a pattern of driving nearly to Aviemore and walking in so that the mutt gets a good walk. For some reason Ellen thought her running was so fast that she was ready to race Ewan. Rusty showed them both how to run. Fine chippy tea and then a wander back, via the hammocks outside the Old Bridge Inn. Hot chocolate and bed. It might be sunny in the daytime but it's freezing cold as soon as the sun goes down.
