Sailing by

I was in Rothesay this afternoon for the "Buteman" #GE15 Hustings and then for some canvassing and leafleting with the Bute team and the candidate, Brendan O"Hara.

As we were leaving just before 6.00,  we saw this wee boat coming in towards the harbour.   It was not just the saltire on it that attracted me, but also the contrasts. 

The Ayrshire Coast (and the Toward Lighthouse) are picked out in the evening sun but the nearer shore, in the lee of the island,  is already in shadow.
