a day in the garden

With great help from Dan we sorted last years compost, tidied up the garden and then spent as much time queuing at the tip to dispose of the rubbish.

The news via the blue tit box camera is that the nest is finished. A few big white feathers have been added, I think more for that homely feel than any practical use and the blue tit is currently fast asleep with her head under her wing. Its great fun watching what happens. She roosted in there on Friday night for the first time, didn't appear to go back last night but glad she is there tonight.
