Carl Rosa

This very pretty Georgian house is on Hackney Road, the home of the Carl Rosa Opera Company, a touring company concentrating on light opera.  I saw it today while visiting daughter Rose in her part of the world, and was intrigued enough to google it.  Carl Rosa (1842-1889) was famous in his day as an opera impresario and director.
