International Dark Sky Week...

went out with some fireworks. I feel so lucky to have had such prime conditions for photographing the night sky this past week. What a blast! This was taken last night at 3:09 AM. Such a beautiful night and the visuals were accompanied by the sounds of owls hooting and a lesser favorite...more coyotes yodelling. 



Just in...confirmed by earthsky.org...it's a meteor!
