Bobbin' along

We had a lovely snack lunch in 'The Guillemot' in Bangor today, before heading over to the boat to try to tidy up the mainsail stack.  The Ards Man has fitted new sails to our boat and they are a lot stiffer then the old ones, which means it's difficult to stack the mainsail neatly on top of the boom.

With minimal wind today we manhandled the sail up the mast while the boat was still alongside the pontoon and then pulled, hauled and folded it so that it packed away more neatly in the sail bag.

Dear knows what it will be like on our holiday this summer if the wind is blowing while we're trying to drop the sail!  We may have to sail into some ports looking a bit of a big girl's blouse :)

While sauntering along Eisenhower Pier near the marina I spotted this giant 'bobbin' at the top of the Long Hole.  I liked how the scene unfolded with the blue sea, sky and interesting clouds.

Hope your weekend was a good one.
