A hard fought battle....

I played my first game in the Summer Knockout comp, match play.  I had to give my opponent 16 shots, which equates to one free shot on every hole except those with stroke index 17 and 18.

For the first 9 holes I played rubbish, going into the back 9 at 2 down, slowly I started to pull it back.  The on the Par 3 15th we were standing 'all square' I put my T shot in the water (numpty), so Janet won the hole, to go 1 up, I then won the next 3 to take the game by 2 holes.

It was a hard fought match.  I also won 10 euros on the Lottery, so not a bad day.
