Turned out alreet in the end

Was up at 1am with Ben with earache and temp and not a drop of calpol could be found in the house at that hour. Wellsy took himself off to sleep upstairs on the grounds that he was working today so I had a upset Ben in bed with me. In the end we watched about a million and one episodes of Peppa Pig, till he was tired enough to sleep.

He slept in a little but was in a shocking mood when he woke. We were meant to have his pals over this morning but ended up cancelling due to his stinker of a mood. Contemplated going to a walk in clinic but don't think he's bad enough to spend the whole day in a waiting room.

I took Ben to Meanwood farm and we had an awesome time. Fed the animals, got nettled minutes after I pointed them out to him and told him to avoid them, mastered 2 wild wees (Ben not me). And then had a really good play in the playground. There must have been the optimum number of kids playing for Ben to love being there - enough to play with, but not so many he's daunted by the numbers and doesn't want to go on anything.

OK Sunday could have been better, equally could have been worse!
