The black bowl

I've got this bowl for my birthday, and it sure looks nice with the green and yellow, don't you think? The bowl is made by Margrét Jónsdóttir, a local artist, and it was my friend Hafdís who gave it to me. 

Today I met with Hafdís and another friend, Bryndís, at a café. We all got to know each other when Bryndís and I were studying at the University of Akureyri (15 years ago) and Hafdís was our marketing teacher. We've kept in touch ever since, although sometimes it goes far too long between meetings. But it's always such a pleasure when we finally get together :)
