Showing a Clean Pair of Heels

They say romance is dead, but I beg to differ.

His Lordship and I ate fish and chips last night by the side of Loch Leven in the late evening sun after a visit to Perth.
No matter that the chilly air cooled the chips quicker than we could eat them, the mushy peas stayed toasty in their little polystyrene containers. A romantic moment indeed- HL certainly knows how to treat a girl.

Taking into account our recent sojourn in Moray, we have consumed in three weeks more fish suppers than in the whole of last year, and now this morning we have compounded our unhealthy diet with the Sunday intake of toast and marmalade at our café by the canal.

Knowing that the Great Edinburgh 10 mile race was being run through our neck of the woods this morning, we walked home by the route of the run, and as you can see from the blip, almost missed the elite runners, as they turned into the West Bow from Lady Lawson Street, with just another 6 miles to go on a very hilly course.

The temperature this morning was only 7 degrees with a smirr of rain to add to our discomfort -ideal for the runners though.
