Diamonds and Dust
I think it's a song title by some country artist, not as famous as 'Diamonds and Rust' by Joan Baez but it's 'Dust' that's the key part. It's a piece of jewellery that Lady Marian had made from some bits and heirlooms that weren't doing much. The jeweller was on holiday when it was picked up and the assistant who was instructed to photograph it forgot. It was made in Hampshire so I've got the job of taking the shot and making it look artistic. I quite like this one, taken in the sunlight that we had yesterday. Unfortunately black velvet shows up all sorts of things that weren't apparent at the time (unless of course it's digital noise due to my poor processing techniques). One way or another I've made life difficult for myself but I did like the starburst that leaps off one of the links (shame it wasn't the diamond nearby). The story will continue as I try for a better shot.
I've been a bit poorly the last couple of days, I think I've got a virus or something. After taking my church shot I was shaking and shuddering like something demented until I took myself to bed with the electric blanket on high(ish). I'm feeling a bit better today (Sunday in real time) but not as good as I'd like to be. Ho hum!
