double tulip

Much greyer and chillier day today so a great time to catch up on things indoors i think! nothing to do with all the sport that will be on this afternoon of course!!

Ventured into the front garden this morning - well, more of a front rockery! - to check on how everything was doing and couldnt resist snapping one of the double tulips that seem to be doing very well out there! I dont even remember planting them to be honest but will definitely be looking out for more bulbs as they look amazing. Glad to see the wind has calmed down a little today so at least the petals will stay on for a little while longer!
