Camouflaged.
Husband yelled out to me from the garden this morning, to bring my camera outside for a rare photo.
I had to search the tree branches for what he pointed at. Is this butterfly asleep?
I've been known, in the past, to chase around the garden, dancing after butterflies, camera poised, only to give up all hope of ever catching a shot of a butterfly, blurred or otherwise. Yet this one just hung from the branch, while I zoomed in with the camera and clicked happily. No blurring!
After a couple of photos though, the butterfly decided that enough was enough, and it flew away, so suddenly that I didn't even get a good look at it!
But I'm happy, I have a clear butterfly photo. Another achievement that I can strike off my "To Photograph" list. :))
And an update ~ Nevermore suggested that my butterfly may be a Tailed Emperor....and I think it looks pretty close too.
