Edinburgh

Went into Edinburgh today to visit my mum and sister. Also, met up with friends in the late afternoon and saw a film at the FilmHouse. The film was called 'Wild Tales' - 6 vignettes set in Argentina. Very black but very funny with some superb acting.
On the way to meet up, I passed this building. Not sure what it is. I think it was part of Edinburgh Council. Whatever it is, it has always struck me how strange that it should have been allowed to be built so close to Edinburgh Castle. And yet, there is something quite appealing in the symmetry of the windows which I liked today.
