Pimp my ride

My friend borrowed our kitchen table this evening to decorate her son's birthday cake.

She managed to turn a simple (but very tasty - we sampled the off cuts) sponge cake into a Ford Mustang with real wheels and functioning headlamps. It's superb!

The process did involve some creative use of a potato peeler to excavate the holes to take the lights which made me think of the nasal surgery I had a few years back but I'm sure that won't it anyone off eating the cake.
