Signs of spring

I think this may be hawthorn blossom, but I'm no expert.   All the signs are pointing to spring now.  

I have had a very busy day at my Dad's in Edinburgh.  My sister, brother in law, and I were helping him de-clutter before he downsizes next month to a retirement flat.  My car is full of stuff, Clare's car is full of stuff and a skip has been filled.  The attic is now empty and the garage is close to empty, a good start!

UPDATE:  it's not hawthorn, it's blackthorn.
