Back in 2011 we had a duck nest in the garden, and eventually we had 14 little ones running around after her. Shortly after that we dug up the garden and did quite a lot of landscaping, sadly the ducks have seemed to give our garden a miss since then.

I was thrilled to,see this mamma and her brood toddle around this morning and then settle under the bench for some shade. It has made my day. Hope they come to see us again very soon.

I took this photo with a proper grown up camera, a canon 350D, on which I should add I haven't been trained so I was particularly pleased to see that this had come out reasonably well.
