Flying Friday

Survived my refresh flight with my instructor on Friday. I was a bit rusty but got the aircraft, me and him back in one piece!

I was surprisingly nervous, fluffed the radio check (unlike me to be tongue tied) but I managed to hold my altitude on steep turns and complete a PFL (Practice Forced Landing to simulate engine failure) without missing the field. Not a bad effort seeing as it was a gusty 20kt wind.

If only my free time, good weather and available finances could all line up at the same time more often for flying!
