Moorside
The is the site of one of the so-called "lost villages" of Baildon Moor: Moorside. A row of twenty three workers cottages graced this spot until they were deemed unfit for human occupation and demolished in the 1960s.
This is also where our local swallows hang out, and it was good to see that they had returned while I was away for a few days in Plymouth (back blips to follow).
A few butterflies were out today, Small Tortoiseshell and Peacock, but the cool wind cancelled out some of the warm sunshine.
