Madrid- Day 3

Back on the red 'bus to the Prado Museum today to view the Goyas, Velasquez etc. We intended to spend an hour or two at the Museo Cerralbo ( on Poppy's recommendation) but arrived there just as it was closing! A quick trip round a small market nearby & back on the 'bus to view a beautiful church we had spotted - only to find that closed too! So, back on the 'bus to the Hotel for a quick wash & brush up before venturing out again for dinner.
If you are ever here for a city break that red 'bus is a godsend at 25 Euros for 2 days ( but we didn't pay that!!)
