Warm and dry!

Well it rained all day, and continues to do so. My fire is on to cheer up the room!

It did not dampen high spirits in school with wonderful outfits of red, white and blue, celebration cakes were baked, faces painted, tattoos - I have a Union Jack on my arm, games, music and song.

The ultimate was our jani who plays in Jedburgh silver Band. We had 10 members of the band come to school to play a concert and the highlight of that was singing Happy Birthday to our wonderful secretary... who had a very special big birthday today and who deserved every cheer raised for her by the whole school.

Fab day!

Am off to my cousin's wedding tomorrow afternoon in Edinburgh - must remember to scrub off that Union Jack...
