A busy day - Office for 8, annual appraisal day. Another wasted 90 minutes of being told how good I am but how I could do better. I offered very little other than to discredit the system which is used to 'measure' performance.
A lunchtime wander in the sun and then 2 and a half more hours of tedium before I beat a hasty retreat to get the car, and trail back into town so we could vanish into the high number IV postcode areas.
(Via Stirling to try and fix her son's bike - no danger - snapped derailer arm is not a simple fix) And then up thru Callander, Crianlarich (new roundabout - when did that appear??), Tyndrum and into the setting sun over Rannoch Moor as we hurtled toward the Buchaille and beyond. Fish and chips in Fort Bill (not the best) and eventually ground to a halt for the night at Invergarry. Dorm beds somehow became room for no extra cost. Hey ho. Good night, all.
