Finally got the new microwave oven off my kitchen table and onto the wall brackets... Helpfully despite checking that all dimensions were identical in order to be able to remove the old and SIMPLY install the new, it was only upon opening the box we noticed the only vents for the new one were on the side that butted hard up against the fridge, so we had to allow 7.5cm clearance, not accounted for and no way of moving the brackets.
We have affixed a shelf to the brackets instead and the dammed microwave has its clearance.

And no one is allowed to mention that the power wire goes into the opposite side and now we cannot plug the toaster in.

Godammit.
