A good week of sailing
I spent the morning making puddings for tomorrow, as we have some friends coming over for lunch. One of the puddings used a tin of condensed milk, and funny how no matter what the age, Adam and Luke were arguing over who would eat the remains out of the tin - if Gavin was at home he would have entered the fray too! These are the same boys who eat a high protein diet, exercise daily, and usually don't eat any rubbish, but there is something about condensed milk that throws caution to the wind....
The sailing course ended today and parents were invited to watch the last race and then attend prize giving. They had some good gusts of wind today, and it has been a very enjoyable week for Thomas. It is amazing how a very active sailing club has developed on water where once it was only a gravel pit.
A quiet evening in, catching up on Indian Summers on TV.
