Collection!

Great timing today, the decorating was all finished and the carpet fitter showed up not long after one. That was fantastic as Bree from the Scottish Gallery had phoned late yesterday to say the picture that prompted the redecoration in the first place had arrived back from the framers. It was meant to be a quick coat of paint but we desperately needed to replace the 25 year old carpet in there too so we figured we might as well rip it up before painting and go for a new one.

Anyway, he was all done by not long after three so I jumped on a bus into town and nipped to the gallery to pick it up. She arrived just after me and Bree grabbed the picture and brought it out while she was parking. In theory it gives me a nice easy blip of it in situ tomorrow.
