St Michael's Ford and Bridge

Asking Google for a walk in St Albans produced a simple 2 mile walk in the Verulamium Park along the River Ver. This is the old Bridge (1765) by the ancient ford. Possibly St Alban was taken this way on his journey to martyrdom.
