New plants

Day off but up early to get to Ronde bike shop to get my new user interface plate (saddle). While J spent some time with her parents I took the new saddle for a 20K test ride and then straight into a 5K run. Didn’t push too hard on the bike and the run pace wasn’t too bad in the end. Both done in 1:26 with quite a long time getting changed in between the bike and run.
Must say it does make a big difference to have a better saddle to sit on. Just need to do some more hours in the saddle to get my bum hardened off a bit more
Looking at this session should be able to do Galashields Sprint Tri in around 1:40 on Sunday.
Came back and we headed up to Dobbies to get some stuff for the garden. They had a 20% off day for the garden club members. Also 50% off afternoon tea. Good job we had booked in advance as it he restaurant was busy.
Managed to get all the plants, soil and pots back in the car just. Had to get J’s parents in the car and pack around them.

Here are the new pots guarding the basement door. Went to Crombie’s to get some sausages for tea before watching some TV. Busy day.
