meat me at Babylon an' ting
goodness only knows what weird things my body is getting up to but I woke up at 5am absolutely starving and wanting a full roast with lashings of gravy or, failing that, a big fat steak. Yesss, breakfast sorted.
Except that I had a bowl of müesli and some marmite on toast, a cup of tea and then some coffee.
The rest of the day was Thursday, which I don't really approve of. I don't see the point of Thursday, we could just do without them as far as I am concerned. ANYway, after Thursday doing it's ting for way too long, I got home, failed to find the time to cook a meal, went to my French lesson (that I can't quite believe that I enjoy), came home and lit a fire and made the steak I'd been craving. Jammed into a home-made bread sandwich with lashings of condiments, salad out of the garden and plenty of wine to water it into place, I am now feeling slightly human again. Phew! that's Thursday over for a week!!
Tonight I have two musics for you, one to go with the title (explanation of it here, music here) and one in celebration of the fact that a very discerning fellow of my acquaintance said that I look like John Lydon's sister (not that I know what his sister looks like, I think the basic idea is I look like him when my hair is short and red and spiky and wild but I am female...) anyway, it was posting this on Facebook this morning that got him onto the idea.
