Becalmed

The new tile cutting machine arrived in this morning's post so we stoked up on poached eggs to last us through the day and then popped out to the shop for some necessities such as milk and socket back boxes (yes, it is true, one can buy just about anything one needs at the local shop - it is a small wonder.) 

The day is still and warm, almost muggy. I noticed the buildings at Elsness were casting wonderful reflections in the glassy water of the bay. I had to take my camera out to capture it just as soon as the shopping was put away.

It's all very well but it is certainly defeating my plans of learning how to smooth water with long exposures! One other downside is the number of flies on the wing. Usually the wind keeps them at bay.
