St Albans church Macclesfield

Day out driving Adam to Buxton and Macclesfield today he was giving two talks at a couple of new retirement places. Saw this church and felt it looked unfinished - wondered if the tower had been damaged but evidently in the early 1900's it was planned to raise the tower to its intended height but money was spent on foundations.
